Prof. Antti-Pekka Jauho

DTU Nanotech, Tech. Univ. Denmark, Denmark

Prof. Jauho holds a Ph.D degree from Cornell University (1982), and he joined DTU in 1992. He is currently Professor of Theoretical Nanotechnology at DTU, and has previously held visiting professorships at UAM in Spain (1997), and Aalto University in Finland (2007-10).  He is also the Director of the Center-of-Excellence CNG (Center for Nanostructured Graphene) at DTU.  The goal of CNG is to introduce new functionalities to graphene, and other modern two-dimensional materials, by suitable nanostructuring.   At CNG both bottom-up and top-down fabrication methods are employed, supported by extensive modeling work.  His research interests include quantum transport, modeling of nanoscale devices, and nanoplasmonics.  He has written a widely used text-book on Nonequilibrium Green’s Functions.
