Prof. Guillermo P. Acuna
Guillermo P. Acuna (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1980) studied Physics at the Buenos Aires University. In 2010, he obtained his PhD at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU, Munich, Germany) under the supervision of Prof. Roland Kersting. After graduating, he joined the group of Prof. Philip Tinnefeld at chair for Biophysics and Molecular materials at the LMU as a postdoctoral researcher. Currently he is a Junior Group Leader at the TU Braunschweig (Braunschweig, Germany). His research interests include single-molecule fluorescence, plasmonics, DNA nanotechnology and nanophotonics.
