Dr. Vincenzo Taresco
Vincenzo Taresco is an Assistant Professor in the School of Chemistry at the University of Nottingham (UoN). He earned his PhD in polymer chemistry from Sapienza University of Rome in 2014. Vincenzo began his postdoctoral research in the School of Pharmacy at UoN and became a senior research officer (group leader) in the School of Chemistry, also in UoN, in 2019. By the end of 2022, he received the prestigious Nottingham Research Fellowship. His research group focuses on creating sustainable, functionalised, and multi-responsive polymeric devices by integrating bio-renewable moieties into polymer backbones.
